VERY INTERESTING PICTURE

Eric shooting the 80yd target.

Here is a neat picture I took earlier this year at the Regional Field.  The archer is Eric Steinbring at the 80yd target, caught at the instant of release.  The horizontal blur just to the left of the bow is the arrow.  You can see the nock and fletching, as well as the shaft still in paradox.  Also, look closely around the bow hand and you will see the string vibrating left-to-right as well as front-to-back.

Sunshine State Games

The Sunshine State Games were held June 13-14.  Competing in the tournament were club officers John Laudicina (Pres), Kevin McCloskey (VP) and his wife Bliss, Shelly Mascaro (Secy/Treas); as well as members Michael Hart, Glen Klawitter and Cheri Houle, and Juan Meneses.  Complete results are available on the FAA website.

Everglades Archers at Temple Beth El

Earlier this year Kevin and Mike went to Temple Beth El in Hollywood to introduce the children (of all ages) to archery.  They were instructed with our Genesis bows and coached on the shooting line.  This year the Mayor of Hollywood was there, who also tried the Genesis bows and had a great time.  The smiles on these kids faces say it all.  Thank You Kevin and Mike for working with the kids and promoting our sport.
