2011 NAFAC PICTURES I received plenty of pictures from this years North American Field Archery Championship (NAFAC). It's quite a bit of work sorting through them, deciding which ones to keep, sizing and touching up, and then organizing them and composing all the pages. But, here they are! Thank you so much to all the people that made this event happen, and thank you all for coming to our club for the tournament. We hope you enjoyed it. Have a wonderful new year! |

MEDIEVAL ARCHERY ARTICLE This is a great article about Medieval and Renaissance targets and archery competition. It covers the varied and often unique targets that were used and the manner in which the competitions were carried out throughout the European countries. The article includes information about crossbows as well as conventional bows in competition, as well as a lot of interesting graphics and modern reenactment photos. The article is somewhat lengthy, but it is in .pdf format so you can download it if you wish. This is a copyrighted article and all credits are included, as well as permission for reproduction. |
